Adjustable Rows in Middle and Lower Racks Fold down to make room for dishes in a variety of shapes and sizes like roasting pans, serving bowls, colanders and dutch ovens.

*Compared to KitchenAid® Dishwashers with ProDry™ Option.

Durable Stainless Steel Interior Offers the beauty and benefits of stainless steel inside the dishwasher. It resists streaks, stains and odors, while retaining heat to help improve drying.

Energy Star® Certified To exceed government standards for energy efficiency, supporting sustainability and helping to save money on utility bills.

Enhanced Dry Coating Specialized coating on the third level utensil caddy helps wick water away for a better utensil drying performance

Extended Dry Option Extends the drying cycle for loads that need extra drying performance by adding a hot rinse to the final cycle.

Flush Design Allows dishwasher to fit evenly with countertops and cabinetry to help give the kitchen a seamless look and feel.

FreeFlex™ Fit Third Level Rack Deep angled design fits 5" glasses, mugs and bowls, allowing 30% more capacity.* It features designated wash jets to clean items in the rack and a removable utensil tray with specialized coating that helps repel water for fast drying. *Compared to KitchenAid® Two-Rack Dishwashers.

Interior LED Lighting System Illuminates inside the dishwasher when the door is open, allowing clearer visibility for easy loading and unloading.

Leak Identification System Helps detect most types of leaks and includes a drip tray underneath. If the system detects a problem, the dishwasher can stop filling, drain the tub and alert that service is needed.*

Panel-Ready Design Allows you to install a custom front panel and handle over the dishwasher door, helping to create a seamless, custom look with kitchen cabinetry.*

*Panel and handle not included.

Pre-Rinse Option Helps overcome the need to hand rinse before loading the dishwasher by washing away small easy-to-remove soils for optimized cleaning performance during the main wash cycle.

ProWash™ Cycle Uses sensors to measure soil levels throughout the cycle and adapts wash time and water temperature as needed for tough messes or lighter loads, because no two meals or the dishes that result are exactly the same.

SatinGlide® Rails in Third and Middle Racks Move smoothly on ball-bearing glides for easy loading and unloading.

Top Controls with Countdown Projection Are tucked away on top of the dishwasher door for a clean look to match your kitchen style. LED projection on the floor subtly displays cycle progress.

Triple Filtration System Uses three levels of filtration to remove food particles during the wash and rinse cycles. This ensures clean water circulates through the wash arms and onto dishes, even with dirty cookware.

Wash Cycle Countdown Conveniently projects an easily readable LED countdown below the dishwasher onto the floor, so you always know the status of the cycle and how much time is left. When illumination disappears, wash is complete.

Receive up to a $4000 rebate with purchase of qualifying KitchenAid Appliances. Rebate form must be postmarked by 1/30/2027.

Professional delivery and installation is available for every product we sell. We would be happy to coordinate delivery and installation for you.

Extended warranties are usually very inexpensive and can save you thousands in the future. Some can even cover extra costs that result, such as cost of food that spoils when your fridge dies. It's simple and inexpensive to purchase extended warranties and one of the smartest ways to protect your investment.

Appliances can be large, heavy and expensive. You probably don't have the special tools or expertise needed to fix them in a crisis. If you can spare a few thousand dollars without batting an eyelash for new appliances should they break tomorrow, don't buy a warranty. But if you're like most of us, protect yourself by purchasing inexpensive extended warranties when you buy a new product and save yourself big money in the long run.

So quiet!

bbranson 8/3/2026

We are really impressed with this panel-ready dishwasher. It is very quiet and we love that it projects the time remaining in the cycle onto the floor so you know when it will be finished. The racks are well thought out with plenty of capacity.

Dishes don™€™t fit properly

Mom68 2/18/2026

Racks dont hold dinner plates without them leaning on plate next to it. I have several styles of plates and none sit upright. Doesn™€™t hold may drinking glasses, dishes come out with food still stuck on frequently. No one in the family wants to load it due to the lack of organization of the racks. Also when delivered it had a broken wheel on the top shelf and missing parts. I went through proper channels for repair and still have not received parts from certified dealer.

I love the sleek counter depth style.

Jenn 2024 2/17/2026

We love our dishwasher. The information and user guides left a lot to be desired. We have had ours for 16 months before we discovered how the air dry even was suppose to work. I kept complaining to my hubby nothing was drying. The door never popped open, then one day I came home and door was popped open and would not close. We said oh that is how it is suppose to work. Manual never explained how it worked or how to troubleshoot. Had to reset with by turning breaker off. Called for repair and of course they don™€™t want to cover under warranty. It has been two months and part came in. We will see what the bill is before complaining Morse about the issue. Our temporary resolution is open door manually. .

Wanted to give this dishwasher 5-stars...

JLaw2025 12/23/2025

I was so excited to get my new KitchenAid panel ready dishwasher, but sadly, I'm not satisfied. There has been such a learning curve trying to load my dishes, bowls and glasses in. There never seems to be enough space for my things. I've watched the tuitorial several times and still can't fit the items in satisfactorially. The worst aspect of this new appliance has been the plastic racks that do not stay in one place; they do not lock in position and unfortunately, keep collasping. We actually had to zip tie the bottom rack in position, so that my plates would stay contained in each slot, and not collapse on each other. My old dishwasher was 6 years old and worked like a charm. Now I'm trying to make this new unit work for us!

I wouldn't recommend purchasing if you anticipate ever requiring servicing as parts appear to be hard to come by. I was sent this dishwasher with two destroyed shelves from the factory. Kitchen aid refused to replace the lemon they sold me and told me my only option was to have it serviced. Ive now gone 5 weeks with only a bottom drawer while I wait for parts with no word on when they will be in. I'm extremely disappointed to say the least especially since it has been unusable since received and I purchased this brand due to what use to be whirlpools (kitchenaid) readily available parts (especially shelf parts).

Ugh

monthomas 12/15/2025

Bought in July '25. (KDTF924PPA) By the time it was replaced because of an integral defect, (3 service visits and a lot of angst, but I could still run the original one while keeping an eye on it for leaks) in end of Sept., I had become familiar with the loading ability. Top 3rd rack is a nice addition, but the middle rack is just a mess. Bowl holder area is nice, but not enough tines to keep glassware upright. Once loaded glasses tumble, already had one break inside the dishwasher. No where to keep wine glasses unless you use the space hogging plastic dividers that are too short for my glasses anyway. Bottom rack has a set of tines that can be flipped up or down. Nice idea except they fall down all the time unaided. Regretting I didn't go with another GE which is what I had the past 20 years. I needed a DW that had a place for wood front panel, so I took the 1st one I could find...Thought I'd be happier since my sister loves her Kitchen Aid. (Different model and loading design but has 3 racks and plenty of mid rack tines to hold up glasses.

Disappointed

LMiller1313 11/2/2025

We have had this dishwasher for a couple of weeks now. I do not love it nearly as much as I loved our Bosch. The racks are not very sturdy. Everything shifts around very easily and moves about when you are sliding the racks back and forth. In addition, the drying feature is not effective. No matter which option I select, everything is still soaked when the cycle is done. Very disappointed.

Love it, Inside and Out

KBax 10/31/2025

My new dishwasher has been installed for only a week and I already love it. The stainless interior is beautiful and the three racks are great. I love the innovative cutlery basket and the top tier area for things like wooden spoons, spatulas and pastry brushes. I bought it because I wanted a dishwasher that would match the rest of my kitchen and the custom panel and handle certainly accomplish that. I chose Kitchen Aid because quality and reliability are associated with the name. (My contractor still needs to add panels to the top and bottom.) Incidentally, my contractor was very impressed during the installation. He especially liked the electrical box!

I HATE MY NEW KITCHENAID AND WANT MY OLD ONE BACK!

Tsitorius@aol.com 10/30/2025

I am so very disappointed in the overall quality of this dishwasher compared to the Kitchen Aid I owned previously!! It seems 'PLASTIC' compared to my previous unit. The door is so much lighter. Everything seems plasticky- the interior is significantly smaller, less sturdy, and the the third rack is basically useless. The interior is also always stinky. I hate that the door pops open for 'air dry' when the cycle is done - it puts TONS of condensation on the top of the very expensive wood panel that I had custom fabricated. I WANT MY OLD DISHWASHER BACK!!!!!!!

Buyer Beware

Go back to Bosch 10/25/2025

DO NOT BUY. Does not get dishs clean - you practically have to pre-clean everything. Capacity is s%&t and the bottom rack is useless as they do not put dishes at an angles so they just flop on top of each other and trap food within. Lots of micro, nearly empty load and rewashing. Not at all worth the $$. Going back to Bosch. I posted to their IG page about the poor performance and they delted the posts - LOL.

Cleans well but terrible dish layout.

Bill A. 10/22/2025

We have been users of Kitchenaid appliances for over 40 years. They have always been a quality product. Our latest dishwasher recently installed cleans very well however we are very disappointed in the pull out two bottom dish baskets. They don't hold as many dishes as the model it replaced. The tines of the baskets are too short to properly support the regular dinner plates on the bottom pullout & glasses fall over on the middle pullout.

When contacted, customer service was not sure how this funciton actually works and was unable to assist.

Don't buy it

Samantha1970 8/20/2025

I've had this dishwasher for 6 weeks, it does not clean well, you have to rinse first and the shelves are hard to organize. the third shelf is almost useless, only very small bowls fit on the third shelf. The middle row is oddley laid out, so that glasses lean awkwardly and serving spoons and spatulas fall through. I had high hopes but am very disappointed. It is quiet though, that is the one positive. I have had a technician come out, he was polite but said this is the machine I bought. I have to pre rinse and they are designed with plastic now. We have an older model kitchenaid at the cottage and are very happy with it. This was an unfortunate buy.

Would not recommend

Lvjj 7/11/2025

I am not pleased with this dishwashers capacity. My previous dishwasher was able to hold 3 rows of dishes on the low rack, this holds only 2 and the dishes constantly fall over. Previous dishwasher had 7 rows of tines, this one only 4 rows. The silverware basket is another thing I dislike. Previous dishwasher the entire basket lifted out for easy unloading. This one only the center section can be removed, the two ends are attached to the rack. The dishwasher is quiet and does a good job of washing the dishes, but so did the other one. Really wish I would have looked at reviews prior to the purchase, many people had similar sentiments.

This is my 2nd KitchenAid dishwasher. Waited 3 months for new model to come out. Love dishwasher itself but bottom rack is not user friendly for more than 6 plates. mwhtmh 6/28/2025

After a few days of using it it broke. It has a open door feature that air dry's the dishes. Well it worked fine and then it did not. The plastic tab popped out and will not retract. The repair person is ordering a new part - He said the motor seized up and he will need to replace the part. The machine is under warranty and I purchased your extended warranty. Please I hope this is a one off breakage and not what I will have to deal with on a regular basis. I love extended warranties but I don't like to need to use them.

I love this dishwasher, it is extremely quiet and dishes come out spotless. I love the extra top rack. My main dislike are the small spindles on the middle and bottom racks as cups fall over fairly easily. My old Kenmore dishwasher was perfect that way and it seemed to fit more dishes because of it. I wish that I could get the racks on the cheaper model on this one.

Great Dishwasher but sell me the dishes as well.

MoonFri 5/6/2025

Love the dishwasher and the brand. My last KitchenAid dishwasher lasted 15 years. I have high hopes for this one given the ability to clean it more easily. The filter at the bottom of the tub is fantastic. The one problem that KitchenAid could solve and is to sell the dishwasher with dishes, cups, flatware, and utensils for 4 that all fit properly. Larger ceramic plates would do better with longer tines and the middle rack seems like it is made for tea cups and saucers. We make it work, and the other brands are no better. I guess design for the masses is hard.

The only issue i had was a wheel assembly popped off of the second rack in January and i had to call in service. I didn't know how to get it back in there and of course the assembly got lost due to sitting on the counter for so long with family and kids moving things.

Plusses and shortcomings.

Library 3/25/2025

This top-of-the-line KitchenAid dishwasher was purchased to replace a top-of-the-line KitchenAid dishwasher purchased in 1994. We have been away about half as long (30 days) as we have had the available use of the new DW (+/- 60 days). We have found this DW much more difficult to load than its predecessor - space between up-right prongs are either too close or too far apart to allow our normal dinner plates and related dishes to fit easily. Also, its predecessor accommodated quite a bit more dishware along with baking type dishes, etc. Not sure what the problem is?? On the positive side, it is relatively quiet and does a nice job in providing clean and dry dishes without prerinsing (other than removing any chunks of debris). Also, the custom front panel from its predecessor fit beautifully so the new DW feels and looks quite at home in its new environment.

I have cooking utensils that will not fit on the flat side, but the handles fall through the wide gaps. If you sold an insert with small gaps for the left side of the upper rack, I would buy it!!

Horrible rack system

JonHatcher 2/3/2025

We own the Kitchenaid 3rd rack dishwasher at our mountain house and love it. We purchased this panel ready 3rd rack Kitchenaid and were told they were identical other than being panel ready. The racks in this dishwasher are horrible. The bottom rack tines unlock any time you only have a couple of plates in it which causes them to fall. If you lower the middle rack so you can fit tall glasses the wand below hits plates causing it not to spin. I would give this dishwasher 5 stars except the racks and capacity is so bad it goes to a one.

We love the top 2 racks, but the bottom rack on this model is terrible. They don™€™t have enough of the tines that hold everything in place, and the ones that fold down won™€™t stay up, so plates won™€™t stay in place! The design of the bottom rack is terrible.

Disappointed

Miss O 11/24/2024

I bought this dishwasher a year ago and I am still struggling to figure out the rack system. I have only owned KitchenAid dishwashers and this is the worst rack system I have ever owned. I called to see if I could at least get a new bottom rack because the rack that came with the dishwasher is absolutely useless. I had to raise the middle rack so the spray arm would stop hitting the top of the dinner plates and now the drinking glasses don't fit except in one spot. It does clean well but everything else is horrible. Also for being one of the top dishwashers it doesn't even have a rinse aid level indicator and I have yet to find the salt indicator. I do not recommend this dishwasher.

Terrible experience

Saharnaz 11/19/2024

Terrible Experience with KitchenAid Appliances I am extremely disappointed with my experience ordering KitchenAid appliances. I placed an order for a range, dishwasher, hood, and microwave on October 11, eagerly anticipating their arrival. I was given a delivery date of November 16, which I thought was reasonable. However, I soon received an email stating that my dishwasher was out of stock. On November 16, the day I was supposed to receive my appliances, I didn™€™t hear anything from them. I decided to call and was shocked to learn that the range was also out of stock! After months of waiting and being let down, I finally received the dreaded news that my entire order was canceled because everything was out of stock. The lack of communication and the constant changes to my order are unacceptable. I expected better from a brand like KitchenAid, and I certainly won™€™t be recommending their products to anyone in the future. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere for your kitchen needs!

Great machine but caused a problem

Dpg01 10/23/2024

Very happy with the dishwasher results; the only problem is a very loud gurgling sound coming from my drain whenever the dishwasher starts and empties. This noise never occurred with the previous dishwasher ( started the day the new dishwasher was installed)

Super quality!

Our previous dishwasher was installed over12 years ago. It too was a KitchenAid. We decide to go with KitchenAid again due to its reliability and excellent cleaning capabilities.

Useless bottom rack, not fit for plates

Indy B 8/21/2024

This is a top of the line dishwasher and while it's quite and cleans the dishes really well, the bottom rack is useless. It's the rack to be used for plates and other flat dishes. It's utterly disappointing because having a rack that allows plates to be stacked inside the dishwasher is a pretty basic requirement. The bottom rack slots are wide and straight, meaning that only a few plates can fit and they ALL fall over on top of one another. I contacted KitchenAid asking for an alternative bottom rack, and alas, they don't have it. They don't even have a workaround or plans to fix this major flaw in the future, despite the many complaints on this design flaw. I'm very sad to see that something so basic has been overlooked and that KitchenAid has not even made an effort to mitigate such error and provide a solution to its customers.

Fabulous dishwasher

LKdawg 8/21/2024

Wonderful dishwasher. If there was any negative, it would be that it seems to hold a little less than our old dishwasher so I end up running it daily. It is super quiet - I love that, and works fabulously. The cycle times are quite long, though, but I just plan accordingly.

We enjoy the dishwasher except we very much dislike the bottom drawer. It is very hard to make the dishes stand up correctly. We would like a different bottom drawer if you have one.

Not Working Correctly Yet

kkathy123 7/9/2024

I bought this dishwasher a month ago, and the first installation team wouldn't install my dishwasher because I needed to remove the baseboard and floor trim even though my other KA dishwashers were able to be installed without removing these items. After paying to have these items removed, the second installation team arrived and said my water valve was broken and I needed to add flooring in the dishwasher area in order for the dishwasher to be level. Not sure why the first installation team didn't catch these issues, but I then paid a plumber to fix the valve and install the dishwasher. Once the dishwasher was finally installed, I noticed that the Normal cycle automatically defaults to the Door-Open Dry Option even though the cycle guide says it will dry the dishes. After many attempts to run a cycle that dries the dishes, I am still having wet dishes. I now have a Kitchen Aid service call scheduled to check the dishwasher next week. In the meantime, I have spent the last month trying to get this dishwasher installed and operating correctly. I called customer service to see if they could extend the limited warranty by a month since I am still waiting for a properly working dishwasher. I was transferred to multiple departments and no one would help me. I was then told a supervisor would contact me within 4 hours, but I have yet to receive a call back. Can you please help?

Regret this purchase

liam324 7/6/2024

We've had this for 6 months. It is a big disappointment vs. other KitchenAids we've had in the past. Especially given the price point. Main issues: - The top rack is essentially non-functional- the sprayers don't cover most of the rack area there so things don't get clean (the FreeFlex Fit Third Level rack is significantly different that the FreeFlex in our last model). - Dishes don't get dry. Either the auto-open feature doesn't help or the traditional drying capability was significantly downgrading when they added the auto-open feature. - Very small overall.

Two out of three (racks) ain't bad

Gaildez 7/3/2024

I loved my old KitchenAid that this was replacing. The new top 2 racks are terrific and versatile. But the old bottom rack was much better. I can fit much fewer plates and things in the bottom rack.

Overall, I would look at something else

mstephen 6/3/2024

Love that you put a cover on this dishwasher, but it is so much smaller and has too many racks. It doesn't fit pots in the bottom rack and is at least 30% smaller than my last kitchenaid. the rack alignment for stacking plates is very odd and causes issues with loading. The cleaning is pretty good, but some cutlery comes out with food still on it (probably a user error in loading or on too often). Some great features like the LED time on the bottom, but to me its way too overpriced for what it gives.

Expensive and a disappointment

jsbean 5/24/2024

Most expensive dishwasher sold by KitchenAid (coming in right at $2,000 with installation) and I must say it is the worst KitchenAid dishwasher we have owned (I currently own four and have owned perhaps 10+ KitchenAid dishwashers in my life). Difficult to operate, the interior compartment is much smaller than before, dishes still wet when the cycle is complete, and very finicky - must have rock salt for the water softener, can't use liquid soap (must use pods), and on and on.

Unbelievably clean dishes and so quiet.

Urblaze 4/12/2024

I have only owned a Kitchenaid dishwasher. I only can reference others I have used at other people™€™s homes. This is the quickest dishwasher I have ever used. It has so many features I live. My previous kitchenaid was the Architectural series and it ran great for 14 years but my kitchen was destroyed in a hurricane and I replaced it with this Kitchenaid. Love how the cabinet front integrates with my kitchen. Love the built-in water softener.
