Nice fridge, but it is loud. I've seen quite a number of other reviews stating the same thing and should've listen to them I guess. As a comparison, our dishwasher is quiter than this fridge.

I bought this refrigerator about 6 weeks ago. I got this one because it fit in the space I needed it to go and because it did not have a water dispenser or icemaker. I noticed 2 of the door bins were damaged. When I contacted Whirlpool, they replaced them immediately. A small plug in the freezer that covers a place the icemaker connects fell into the fan. Whirlpool sent a repairman to fix that. I can't say enough about the awesome customer service!
I am having a little trouble getting the temperatures where they need to be. I think that may be operator error.
We are pleased with the refrigerator.

Fridge side only comes with 3 shelves not four as described on their web site. Whirlpool claims the top of the crisper bin is counted as a shelf (very deceiving). Had to purchase another shelf from Whirlpool so we didn't have the large gap which made it look like a shelf was missing. No matter where you leave the gap, it's too large and doesn't look right. The extra slot makes it look like a shelf is missing.

Received this fridge today and it is a catastrophe! Does not fit into my space because on both sides, the foams have swallowed and increased the width to a quarter of an inch :( . It grew to 33 inches instead of 32-3/4.
Also the width in front, along side the doors is 33 while everywhere in the specs, the width is 32-3/4.
Following the delivery guy advice, I damaged the kitchen wall by cutting the wall border, but it does not help as the fridge has swallowed from middle; it is still way bigger than it was supposed to be. I just learnt that the sides will even swallow more as time goes and make it stuck inside the space even after it is in the place. I am so regretful now. Hard-earned money, safety risk, time-consuming fight.
Though my wife and I love the look and feel of the fridge, I cannot even push it in place to turn it on and see inside.
Now, I have to fight with Bestbuy to get the unit back; I cannot imagine what pain am I going through to get this returned! I have a 2-year curious kid and I am afraid this fridge that has blocked 80% of kitchen way, becomes a safety risk.

J' ai acheté mon frigo il y a deux ans, les tablettes de plastiques cassent, les contenants à fruits et légumes aussi , jamais je n'ai eu des accessoires aussi peu résistants , c' est la première et dernière fois que j' achète cette marque et la dernière , il va falloir que je commande tout ce qui est cassé , non je ne suis pas satisfaite et je suis loin d`être du genre difficile à satisfaire croyez-moi . Pour le reste il fonctionne très bien dommage pour la piètre qualité des accessoires .

Thank you Whirlpool for continuing to make this model for folks like us who had a fridge like this and didn't want to redo their kitchen when it stopped working. I bought this to replace the identical model which was 14 years old. I'm happy with the look of the new fridge which is almost exactly like the old one. However, the inside is vastly different - one bin and shelf have been eliminated. I have no need for a shelf that is 14 inches high and if I buy another shelf it will cost me about $150. My old model had a removable wine sleeve too which was also very handy. Of course I paid more for this new one 14 years later - but I hope the quality is still good since these changes could only have been made to save money. In this day and age when we're so concerned about saving energy, to have this much empty space inside a refrigerator seems like a real waste. Please Whirlpool rethink this interior design. It doesn't make sense.

I bought this to replace a 35 year old Whirlpool side x side. All I can say is...they don't make them like they used to! But, I knew that going into the purchase. That being said, I'm mostly pleased.
I didn't want stainless, and I was tired of white, so I got plain black, thinking it would be the textured finish. It wasn't. The sides are textured, but not the doors. There was no description of the finish, that I noticed, so it was disappointing when it was delivered. When I inquired about it, I was told "they don't make them that way any more". I would have gotten the black stainless if I would have known.
Cheaply made shelves and drawers. Not as deep and not the heavy glass and plastic like my old one. And, NOT adjustable in any way! In the freezer or fridge.
On the plus side, I don't know how they did it, but the interior is actually bigger! If the shelves were deeper and adjustable it would be PERFECT! I was able to get it without an icemaker or water dispenser. I never used that feature in the old one. What a difference having that extra room in the freezer! It runs quietly. I've had it for two months, and so far it's been good.
I gave it a one star for innovation, because the shelves and drawers are not adjustable. That is a poor design feature for ANY refrigerator.

We purchased a Whirlpool refrigerator from a local appliance store in December, 2018. We immediately noticed a loud humming noise coming from the refrigerator when the motor is running, which is often. The store replaced the motor and the fan, but the constant irritating humming continues. The store called Whirlpool for advice, and were told that side by side refrigerators are louder. They also said that since it is working there is nothing they can do for us.

It has the same space as my top freezer fridge, and I love that it does not have an ice maker. I have 1 shelf with 6 ice trays that take up a little bit of space. The foot resists finger prints as well.

Our first unit could not keep the food cold on a warm, humid day. We received the second unit and the gasket on the freezer door was not installed properly which I fixed. This unit also had a 1/2" x 1/2" hole on the inside rear wall of the unit exposing the insolation. We called both Whirlpool and Lowes and the immediate reaction was for an exchange. The third unit arrived with the same hole in the rear wall and we refused delivery. Upon calling Whirlpool the reply was that the hole is there by design with no explanation why. So far the second unit has operated but when the warm, humid weather comes next summer hopefully the unit will keep the food cold.

I bought this fridge based on I do not need to renovated my existing kitchen. Very rare to have a 22 cu.ft. frige will fit into the 34 width and 68 height cabinet space.
We had icemaker fridge, and I don't think I use it more than 3-4 times for the ice maker for the past 8 years. I had it over 4 months, and I love it. It's quiet, LED lights and store a lot of my grocery. I just wish they have a Slave color when I bought it, my is SS. I had a great salesman in GOEMAN's Appliances recommended.

We purchased this refrigerator about a month ago. Wasn't sure if the black color would be suitable....well it was! Matched our other black appliances. This refrigerator is just the right capacity for us. Love the lighting inside, nice and bright. Lots of room on the door shelves to store items. I like the adjustable shelves in the body of the refrigerator. The freezer is compact but suitable for our needs. We had a side by side refrigerator and this one is a great update - energy efficient and quiet.

I bought this frig mainly because there was NO ice maker and it was black. It goes very well with my new kitchen. The most important thing is that it was AFFORDABLE! It's spacious, deep inside storage on both frig & freezer side. I know it's crazy, but now I'm happy I have the frig I wanted and it doesn't have to make my coffee or wake me up.

I really like this fridge it fits in the same space as the old one but seems to have so much more rooom. The door shelves are much deeper. The shelves can be arranged in a way that makes more sense than my old one. it looks good and is not hard to clean the outside is not looking dirty or showing fingerprints. It works well. It does seem to make more noise it is louder than my old one but not a problem or a distracting noise.

Bought the refrigerator a few months ago, and it is really nice. I do have to get used to the side by side, which is a bit smaller than my freezer on the bottom that I had before. But I find the freezer side is so much easier to get at items and see what I have available. And I love the black!

I am very disappointed with this refrigerator that was ordered online at Leon's.
The doors are higher than the stated height of the fridge. The large feet are unattractive, one foot has a dark hollow opening which is in full view. The number of shelves do not use the space wisely leading to gaps of unused space. The fruit drawer is small and there is no deli drawer.
This fridge is noisier than the 22 year old Whirlpool fridge it replaced.
The optional ice maker comes with instructions that do not match the parts supplied.
I'm very unhappy with this fridge and wish I had never ordered it.

This was delivered to me on 5/29/18. It had a scratch through the plastic covering and when I removed the plastic I saw a permanent scratch on the door. I am sure we will accidentally scratch or ding this and it will look awful as time goes on. I can see every finger print on this from the past 24 hours and I don't want to be a slave to wiping this. I regret buying this on-line because the photos appear to show matte finish; however the doors are very shiny.

I bought this item about 17 months ago. The led light on the freezer side has gone out and led lights are very dim on refrigerator side. The shelves are very fragile. The very first week I had this fridge the top shelf cracked after putting on it a gallon of milk.
